ARTISTS ARE INVITED TO SUBMIT WORK FOR THE LIBRARY ARTS
CENTER JURIED REGIONAL EXHIBIT
ENTRIES
IN: Friday, May 7th or Saturday, May
8th 11am – 4pm,
or by prior arrangement. Opening reception: Friday, May 14th,
from 5-7pm. Exhibit Runs: May 15-June 17, 2010 Gallery Hours:
Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-4pm.
This
is a juried exhibit, selected by arts professionals familiar
with and sympathetic to regional art work. Painting, drawing,
printmaking, sculpture, photography and mixed media are
welcome. Artists may submit two recent works made in the
last two
years. All works must be labeled with artist’s name,
address, title of work, medium, price and be gallery ready
for hanging.
Large sculpture entries may be submitted as digital jpeg
images by April 10th. Bring the ENTRY FORM and ENTRY FEE
with you
when dropping off your work. Please do NOT send these items
to the Library Arts Center before drop-off.
ENTRY
FEE FOR TWO WORKS: $5 for LAC members, $10 for non-members
PICK
UP: Work not selected to be hung in the exhibit is to be
picked up after the judging, on Tuesday, May
10th
between
11-4, or by other arrangement with the director. Work
selected for the exhibit must stay for the entire exhibit,
and is
subject to 30% LAC commission on sales if you choose
to have it for
sale. Pickup for work included in the exhibit is Thursday
June 17th from 4-7PM & Friday June 18th from 11-4, or by arrangement
made with the director. Prompt pick-up or arrangements for
pick-up are essential. Work in the exhibit is insured until
pick-up dates.

JURIED REGIONAL COMPETITION ENTRY FORM
LIBRARY ARTS CENTER SELECTIONS COMPETITION:
Artists are encouraged to also compete for the Library Arts Center
Regional Selections Exhibit to be held in the gallery during
the 2011 exhibit season. Submit digital jpeg images on disk,
or photographs of 6-8 examples of your work, as well as your
resume to be considered (in addition to the two works submitted
for Juried Regional) if you wish to be considered for the Selections
exhibit.
