E. Thor Carlson Retrospective
Dates: May 23 - June 18 2008
Opening Reception: May 23, 2008 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Both galleries will feature paintings and drawings by E. Thor Carlson including his "Dante's Inferno" series.
In addition to regular gallery hours, the LAC will be open for Special Sunday Hours: 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Mr. Carlson will be present at the gallery on these Sundays to discuss his work. For more information please call Doris at 603.863.3040.

Eligibility:
Newport Library Arts Center invites submissions of hooked rugs of original design created in the past three years. Participants must be residents of either Vermont or New Hampshire.
Submissions to include either of the following:
Slides of works clearly labeled with number of entry, name, title, dimensions and date or
CD clearly labeled with name, title/s, dimensions and date.
Actual photos with name, title/s, dimensions and date.
Accepted works need to have a sleeve and dowel attached for hanging. Entry Fee: $10 for 1 or 2 works, $15 for three submissions - checks made out to "The Library Arts Center".

Hooked by Inspiration
